Sustainability-linked bonds

The subject of sustainability-linked bonds was analysed in depth by a panel at Environmental Finance's ESG in Fixed Income Europe 2020 virtual conference.

The bond structure of, and investor response to, Enel's sustainability-linked bond was discussed, as well as the industry response to findings from ICMA's Working Group on sustainability/KPI-linked bonds.

The panel also heard from Daniel Weiss, deputy group treasurer at Novartis, whose sustainability-linked bond is the first to include social KPIs.

A clip of the panel can be viewed below. The full panel discussion and the other discussions from the event are still available to view on the events platform.
