Zoe Knight has been appointed head of HSBC's Climate Change Centre of Excellence. She replaces Nick Robins who left the bank to become a co-director of the UN Environmental Programme's (UNEP) Inquiry into the Design of a Sustainable Financial System.
Knight joined the bank in 2010 as a climate change strategist, and was latterly director of climate change strategy. She previously worked for Absolute Strategy Research, Cheviot Asset Management, Merrill Lynch and UBS.
HSBC's Climate Change Centre employs a team of analysts in London and Hong Kong undertaking research across asset classes on the investment implications of climate change.
