The winners of Environmental Finance's annual Sustainable Investment Awards for 2022 have been announced.
The awards honour investors and other players in the market who have been leaders in the field of sustainable finance.
The winners were selected by a panel of independent judges, made up of more than 40 industry experts.
Some of the biggest winners were:
- AllianceBernstein, which won Environmental fund of the year, global, with its Sustainable climate solutions portfolio; ESG assessment tool of the year, risk and reporting, with its Modern slavery assessment matrix; and TCFD report of the year.
- Amundi, which won Fixed income manager of the year; and Social fund of the year, Europe.
- Goldman Sachs, which won Thought leadership paper on sustainable investing, North America, with its Black Womenomics report; and ESG research of the year, Asia, with its Navigating Asia ESG regulation report.
Personality of the year was awarded to Marcos Preto, CEO of Agrocortex and leader of a project from the Brazilian sustainable development firm that aims to avoid illegal deforestation in the Amazon rainforest while producing carbon credits.
