Voting for Environmental Finance's 19th annual Market Rankings is closing soon – there are just eight working days left to participate in the largest and most closely watched survey of the world's environmental markets.
Environmental Finance is asking market participants to nominate the best banks, brokers, finance houses, law firms and consultants in the traded markets for carbon, renewable energy, biofuel, and weather and catastrophe risk.
Multiple award winners in the carbon categories of last year's poll included Bluesource, Element Markets, Evolution Markets, Vitol, Redshaw Advisors, ICE and South Pole.
Baker McKenzie retained its position as the leading law firm in both the carbon and renewables markets, while Nephila Capital and Sompo Global Weather dominated the weather and catastrophe risk categories.
First-time winners included verification companies Lucideon, CQC and Weaver, advisory firm ClearBlue Markets and law firm Dentons.
Voting will close at midnight on Monday 5 November and is open only to companies that participate in the markets in which they are voting.
The results will be published on the Environmental Finance website and included in the winter print issue of the magazine.
