The winners of the annual Environmental Finance Sustainable Company Awards have been announced, recognising some of the companies taking the lead in transforming their business practices for a sustainable future.
Selected by a panel of more than 30 independent industry judges, the awards attracted hundreds of entries.
Globe Telecom scooped four awards, making it the biggest winner across the categories, while EKI Energy Services won three awards.
Planet Tracker's founder Robin Millington picked up an award as a Sustainable business leader of the year. YouGov's Emily Balcombe won the Rising star of the year award.
Sustainability reporting and net zero progression successes were also celebrated, along with several other categories that acknowledge initiatives in nature-based solutions, water stewardship, supply chain and the circular economy, among others.
"These awards are evidence of the impressive sustainability transformations taking place across a diverse array of companies on a global scale," said Environmental Finance content strategist Annabelle Palmer.
"Many congratulations to all the winners of the 2023 awards, they provide a great way to recognise leadership in some of the most critical but complex sustainability areas.
