Entries for the 2023 Environmental Finance Bond Awards will close on Monday 6 February, leaving just a few days to nominate the leading green, social, sustainability and sustainability-linked (GSSS) bond and loan deals, and recognise significant market participants.
The deadline for entries is 23:59 GMT on 6 February, with details on how to nominate available on the awards page.
Now in its eighth year, the 2023 awards include 71 updated categories that recognise the remarkable GSSS bond issuers, lead managers, investors, external reviewers, and personalities in a year where green bond issuance continued to recover market share from its younger labels, despite a challenging year for fixed income markets.
Among the changes in 2023 are the inclusion of a 'Transition bond of the year' category, and a 'Lead manager of the year, transition bonds' category amid continuing interest for transition bond issuance.
The awards are reviewed by an independent panel of judges from the investment community with the winners announced on Environmental Finance at the beginning of April, both online and in print.
The 2023 awards follow on from the success of the 2022 Environmental Finance Bond Awards which attracted more than 350 entries from a diverse range of market participants, with the winner list revealing the depth of innovation in the market.
