Schroders Greencoat has acquired a UK solar portfolio from Greek industrial and energy company METLEN Energy & Metals on behalf of one of its private asset vehicles.
Following the acquisition, the renewables and energy transition infrastructure investor has become the largest manager of operating ground mounted solar farms in the UK with total capacity of approximately 1.9GWp.
