NextEnergy Capital has acquired a Polish solar photovoltaics renewables portfolio.
Acquiring the portfolio from an ‘experienced investor and developer of renewable energy projects’ developer, the portfolio’s operating plants total 65.6GW.
The transaction marks NextEnergy’s first in Poland by its fifth flagship NextPower fund, NextPower V ESG.
The fund has a $1.5 billion target and $2 billion hard-cap, and has a pipeline of opportunities in Spain, Poland, Italy, Canada and the US, according to the investor.
