Nepal showcases impact investment opportunities

Nepal is hosting a conference in London to shine a light on the opportunities the country provides for impact investors.

Featuring Nepal's finance minister, the conference will discuss themes such as investing in renewable energy in the wake of the country signing an agreement to export 10GW of clean energy to India, which is expected to create a $500 million financing opportunity. Other themes include investments in the IT sector and the potential for green bonds.

The conference, called Emerging Nepal: opportunities for impact investment and trade, will be held on 31 October from noon at The Mansion House.

Dolma Impact, an investor focused on the country, will be speaking at the event. Read a feature about Dolma here.
