The research includes:
- An access to ESG raw data and indicators underpinning the ESG Ratings
- ESG ratings (global, per theme (E, S and G), per indicator)
- Carbon metrics (reported and estimated scope 1, 2 & 3 GHG emissions)
- Controversial activities
- Review of ESG controversies
- SDG research
- European Taxonomy: analysis of eligibility and alignment of companies
- Biodiversity data
Each year, the assessment framework is enriched to take into account the rapidly changing standards in the field of ESG.
Where and how do you source your data?
The information used for our ESG ratings comes from the public documentation of companies (annual reports, CSR reports, company websites) and from a direct dialogue phase enabling the company to provide additional information. The source of information is systematically mentioned during the collection process. The information provided directly by the companies through the dialogue is subject to consistency tests before being integrated into the assessment.
We also use data modelling to fill some reporting gaps. For instance, we can model any company’s carbon footprint on scope 1-2-3, as well as a company dependence on ecosystem services and impact on biodiversity. We also estimate companies’ eligibility to the Green Taxonomy, when we do not have access to reported data.
What is the cost for your data offering?
The cost depends on many aspects :
- Geographical scope (Nationwide, Euro, Europe)
- Granularity of data chosen : ESG raw data and/or ESG scores
- Chosen Datasets: Controversies follow-up, SDGs, EU taxonomy, carbon data.
