Where and how do you source your data?
MSCI Sustainability and Climate products are based on 4,000 raw data points collected on average per issuer and the output includes 135,000 company reports and 80 million data points per year. We utilise over 17,000 derived datapoints on average for each issuer with the output including over 80 million data points per year. 400+ Sustainability & Climate specialists are dedicated to the development of pioneering climate models, analytics and indexes.
MSCI is a leading climate index provider by equity assets linked to its climate indexes, with $664 billion benchmarked to MSCI ESG & Climate Equity Indexes. In addition, there are 2,250+ climate change metrics covering 19,600+ issuers.
