Brief description of the data offering

Inrate categorises real-time ESG controversies data into 38 informative indicators for simplified investment decisions. We assess and quantify the severity of each controversy using parameters such as durability of consequences, scale of impact, level of involvement, corrective action taken, etc, and provide controversy scores at an event, indicator and company level. 

Inrate assesses six categories of controversial issues using 38 indicators to evaluate a company’s involvement in controversies.: labour conditions, society, environment, business ethics, products & services and governance

 

Where and how do you source your data?

Inrate's analysis involves daily screening of diverse credible media databases and specialised reports from NGOs, think tanks, etc. Additionally, company-reported information such as annual reports and sustainability reports is taken into account.
