Where and how do you source your data?

Moody's uses a range of data sources to provide a robust and comprehensive offering. To capture company reported data we leverage a combination of machine learning tools  scrape large databases and specialist analyst teams who collect company reported data, conduct primary research, and engage directly with companies where relevant.

Outside of company reported information we also use alternative data sources and our

advanced predictive analytical capabilities to fill in gaps. This can be particularly important for generating ESG analytics amongst small and private companies where company reported data often does not exist.

What is the cost for your data offering?

Each data package is created according to each customer’s individual requirements.
