Environmental Finance is delighted to announce that its 6th annual Green Bonds Europe 2016 conference will take place on 20 June at the Hilton Tower Bridge Hotel in London. After six years this summit has developed into the leading green bonds event in EMEA.
The green bond market saw another year of strong growth in 2015.
Private sector banks have made a significant impact on growth, as many of them expanded their activities beyond underwriting and have joined the ranks of green bond issuers. Other corporate issuers contributed an additional $11.1 billion of new issues out of a total market of $42.9 billion in 2015. Forecasts for new issuance this year range up to $100 billion.
Which other issuers and investors will contribute to this growth in 2016?
Last year over 200 delegates have joined this conference. More than half are from the issuer and investor community. The event has attracted delegates from across the globe: from Brazil to the USA, from Canada to the UK, and from Europe, Japan and Australia…
"Good variety of issues and topics representing the chances and issues of the GB market. Look forward to next years event"
