Clarity AI’s environmental and social impact data platform currently has a client network representing in excess of $10 trillion in assets under management, and environmental, social and governance (ESG) data points across more than 1,000 metrics covering over 30,000 publicly traded companies, 198 countries, 187 local governments and 200,000 funds.
Clarity AI covers both equities, listed bonds and fund level information.
The software allows for score or rating customisation and reporting based on investors´ own methodologies and social impact preferences, covering ESG Risk, ESG Impact, UN Sustainable Development Goals and the impact of products and services. It also covers regulatory disclosures, allowing clients to assess the EU Taxonomy alignment for over 30,000 companies based on principal adverse indicators.
“Clarity AI’s tech platform empowers investors to assess and report on social and environmental impact through leveraging big data and machine learning. We welcome this award as recognition of the value of bringing scalable tech solutions to the financial industry, making markets more sustainable for both the environment and society” said Rebeca Minguela, founder and CEO of Clarity AI.
Where Clarity AI believes it has set itself apart from other ESG data providers and platforms is the validation and reliability of its data. Its algorithms “triangulate” data sources, the “confidence level” of each provider, historic data, and correlations with other variables to get the most accurate source for each data point, according to Clarity AI.
"Making ESG and net impact insightful for various stakeholders and across asset classes is the next step forward in mainstreaming impact and combating impact washing," commented one Impact Awards judge. While another added Clarity AI's platform was a "strong technical offering".
