US regulator approves voluntary carbon credit guidance

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has approved guidance on the listing of voluntary carbon credit derivative contracts for CFTC-regulated derivatives exchanges, which the agency said would drive standardisation, deter market manipulation and help price discovery.
