SBTi consultation's 'mixed' findings leave it mulling role of carbon credits in new standard

Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has published four technical papers "as an early step" in the revision of its Corporate Net-Zero Standard but noted that "direct decarbonisation" of the value chain remains a priority as controversy surrounds the role played by carbon credits.
