India offers $500bn-$700bn renewables opportunity, say IEEFA

India’s renewables sector offers an investment opportunity worth between $500 billion and $700 billion over the next decade of it in to meet its energy targets, according to a report by the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA). This includes investment needed for renewable energy and the supporting grid infrastructure.
