€1bn Flender ESG-linked buyout loan deal attracts 'phenomenal' demand

A €1 billion ($1.2 billion) sustainability-linked leveraged buyout (LBO) loan from German wind turbine gearbox maker Flender to support its buyout by private equity firm Carlyle has attracted "phenomenal" demand from investors, a banker close to the transaction told Environmental Finance.
