Middle East investor commits to 1GW Indian solar venture

Dubai-based private equity firm Abraaj Group and the Indian engineering conglomerate Aditya Birla Group have partnered to form a gigawatt capacity solar joint venture, to bid for projects in Indian national and state auctions.
